Corporate profits represents the portion of the total income earned from current production that is accounted for by U.S. corporations. The Corporate Profits after tax measures the earnings, excluding inventory valuation adjustments (IVA) and capital consumption adjustments (CCAdj) and provides a clear view of corporate profitability based on current production costs and accounting methods.
