Import Price Index
The Import Price Index measure monthly changes in the prices of nonmilitary goods and services traded between the U.S. and the rest of the world. The Index tracks price changes in a basket of imported products. The import index reflects the dollar prices paid by U.S. residents for goods and services from abroad.
